BLT Ride in Chula Vista

A beautiful ride in Chula Vista to the salt water and back. We had a great group of bikers that ranged from 10 years old and up. There were a few experienced bikers alongside people looking to learn more about riding. We provided multiple League Certified Instructors on the ride, questions could be answered and best practices could be discussed. The 6 mile course gave opportunities to practice scanning/signalling, starting and stopping, riding in a group, lane positioning and left turns.

A Casual Bike Ride with Traffic Safety Education
Once a month we offer a fun ride in a scenic part of San Diego County. Part learning experience, part coffee jaunt, these rides welcome all riders, but are geared for beginners. If you would like an introduction to road riding, riding in a group or just a nice morning out with some fun bicyclists, this is a ride for you. The rides are typically 8-10 miles, mostly flat on bike paths and lightly traveled roads. We do it at a pace that encourages talking and interaction. We talk a lot, stop a lot, while having fun and getting information about riding in various situations. No one is ever left behind.
